NRCan to Host SmartWay Webinars

The SmartWay Transport Partnership, an innovative partnership between public and private stakeholders with the shared goal of saving fuel and reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution from the freight transportation supply chain, has arrived in Canada.

Interested in learning more about SmartWay and how it can help your business? Would you like some help completing your SmartWay Truck Tool? Natural Resources Canada will be hosting two one-hour webinars in May 2013.

The first, SmartWay 101, provides an introduction to the SmartWay program. The second webinar will be a demonstration and walkthrough of the SmartWay Truck Tool. Each of these webinars will be available in English and French.

SmartWay 101 - An introduction to SmartWay for new partners and companies interested in learning more about SmartWay. Learn about SmartWay, how it works, what you need to do to join, and how it can help your business reduce fuel use, save money, and save the environment.

Truck Tool Demonstration - Join us as we help you with completing your Truck Carrier Tool. One of Natural Resources Canada's SmartWay Tool experts will take you through the completion of the Truck Carrier Tool and what you will need to do this, provide some handy tips on avoiding common difficulties encountered while filling in the tool, and show you ways you can use the data from your completed tool to help your business.
